Professional Women’s Meetup (PWM)
Guest Speaker Agreement
This Guest Speaker Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Professional Women's Meetup (PWM) and the undersigned Guest Speaker ("Speaker"). By participating as a speaker at a PWM event, you agree to the following terms:
1. EVENT PARTICIPATION
1.1 Speaker Commitment – The Speaker agrees to participate in the designated PWM event and deliver a presentation on the agreed-upon topic.
1.2 Professional Conduct – The Speaker will conduct themselves professionally and ensure their presentation aligns with PWM’s mission to empower and support women in business and leadership.
1.3 Event Format – The Speaker understands that their session may be conducted live, pre-recorded, or a combination of both, as determined by PWM.
2. CONTENT & PROMOTION
2.1 Content Ownership – The Speaker retains ownership of their intellectual property but grants PWM a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and promote the presentation materials.
2.2 Recording & Distribution – The Speaker acknowledges and agrees that PWM may record the session, edit it for promotional purposes, and distribute it across various platforms (website, social media, email marketing, etc.).
2.3 Promotional Commitment – The Speaker agrees to actively promote their participation by:
Sharing event details on social media, tagging @prowomenmeet
Mentioning the event in their email newsletter (if applicable)
Engaging with audience questions and comments before and after the event
2.4 Marketing & Branding – PWM reserves the right to use the Speaker’s name, bio, photo, and presentation content for promotional purposes.
3. TECHNICAL & PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Audio & Video Quality – If participating in a virtual event, the Speaker will ensure a stable internet connection, high-quality audio, and a professional camera setup.
3.2 Camera-Ready Appearance – The Speaker agrees to appear on camera in a professional manner suitable for a business audience.
4. LIABILITY & CANCELLATION
4.1 Content Responsibility – The Speaker is responsible for ensuring that their presentation does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of third parties.
4.2 Cancellations & Rescheduling – If the Speaker is unable to attend the event as scheduled, they agree to notify PWM at least 7 days in advance to allow for rescheduling or a replacement.
4.3 No Compensation – Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the Speaker understands that this is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity to share expertise and gain visibility within the PWM community.
This Guest Speaker Agreement expresses the complete understanding of the parties.
